Bio

Andrew Wong is Vice President, Transactions for Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Asia Pacific. Andrew leads the Asia Pacific Innovation Center (APIC) transactions workforce, which manages the early stage business development transactions and collaboration management activities in the region across Johnson & Johnson’s three business sectors. The team identifies, develops and executes partnerships with a diverse set of partners, including biotech companies, venture capital firms, non-profit organizations, governments and academic institutions. Andrew joins Johnson & Johnson Innovation with over 23 years of life science-related business development and finance experience. In his most recent role, Andrew was Senior Vice President, Corporate Business Development at Auransa Inc., a leading venture-backed precision medicine biopharmaceutical company. Andrew also previously worked for SciClone Pharmaceuticals as the Vice President, Business Development. Before this, Andrew took roles at Alexza Pharmaceuticals, ProQuest Investments, Lehman Brothers, Dendreon Corporation and LifeScience Economics with various responsibilities from Head of Corporate Development to Senior Equity Research and Senior Business Development Analyst. Andrew also was a Research Assistant at Stanford Medical School. Andrew holds an MBA from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts, Biology from Occidental College.
