June 8, 2021 —Johnson & Johnson Innovation, together with Neutrogena®, announced today that EADEM has been selected as the awardee in Black Innovators in Skin Health QuickFire Challenge. The challenge offered an opportunity for U.S.-based Black innovators working on potential skin health solutions to receive grant funding and mentorship from experts across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies to help advance their science.

EADEMis a clean beauty brand centered around women of color and their beauty needs for bare-skin confidence. Pioneering Smart Melanin Beauty, EADEM aims to offer skincare uniquely formulated for skin of color.

To help advance their research, EADEM will receive $50,000 in grant funding, mentoring from experts across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, and access to the Johnson & Johnson Innovation - JLABS ecosystem.

The QuickFire Challenges are managed by Johnson & Johnson Innovation with the goal to help address today’s greatest health care challenges.
